I am a Professor of Mathematics at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics of the University of Guelph, Guelph, Ontario, Canada. I am also a Fellow of the Engineering Institute of Canada, a Senior Member of the IEEE, and a Fellow of The Fields Institute for Research in Mathematical Sciences.

I am an "Affiliate researcher– External" of the Waterloo Institute For Complexity & Innovation

Since 1999, I have been a Member of the Guelph-Waterloo Physics Institute, at the University of Guelph.


I am a member of the IFIP Working Group 1.5 - "Cellular Automata and Discrete Complex Systems".
